With the baraka and blessing of Sidi Sheikh Mohamed Faouzi Al-Karkari, and in order to promote the memorization of the Holy Quran as well as the popularization of its sacred sciences among women, the disciples of the Karkariya Tariqa in Cameroon proceeded to the distribution of 100 Qurans for the benefit of the women of the village of Njo-Ham in the department of Noun in the West of Cameroon. This initiative is part of the activities carried out by the “jamiyatou siniya school”. The latter, created by the Karkari disciples of Cameroon, is active through its various scientific, religious, cultural and intellectual contributions with the major objective of fighting for the eradication of illiteracy, as well as the dissemination of the Arabic language, the reinforcement of the identity of the nation and the dissemination of the Holy Quran and the tolerant sciences of Islam.
Through this contribution the Tariqa Karkariya encourages its female followers to assume their scientific and practical leadership in the family and continental environment, in view of the important role and status that Islam has granted to women.
